Thought of the day

The Word of the Pope

Message for Lent

Now Lord, at the evening of my life, my heart rests in your Heart, where there is room for everyone… I have preserved within me the youthfulness of spirit that makes me exclaim at every moment "Thank you Lord, then thank you again and always thank you"

Ven. Mother Margherita Maria Guaini

A MISSION

Our specific mission is to make Jesus the Eternal Priest known, loved, and imitated, proclaiming and bearing witness to the greatness of the Sacrifice of the Mass, through evangelization and catechesis, to inspire love and devotion to the Eucharist, awakening in every baptized person the personal priestly dignity and the practice of offering one's own existence in union with the offering of Christ. Furthermore, we ensure that Priests are esteemed and helped by the faithful, as well as raising awareness for collaboration towards those who suffer, who are poor and marginalized, whose cry rises to God, imploring help.

AWARENESS

The concrete way of living our discipleship, following Christ the Eternal Priest, is expressed in a continuous act of love, in the humble but total offering of ourselves and our spiritual goods, in union with the offering that Jesus makes of himself to the Father in every Holy Mass, according to the purposes of the Eucharistic Sacrifice: adoring, giving thanks, making reparation, and supplicating for the Church, the sanctification of Priests, and the salvation of humanity.

 SHARED GIFT

The Holy Spirit gave Mother Margherita Maria Guaini, our Foundress, the gift of welcoming and responding to a question mystically gathered from the lips of Jesus: “What profit is my Blood if no one makes it count?” (cf. Ps 30:10),

sharing in the universal thirst for salvation of Christ the Priest, making known, appreciated, and lived the mystery of the Holy Mass, in which He, through the ministry of Priests, continues to offer to the Father his unique and universal redeeming sacrifice.

The Holy Spirit gave a gift to Mother Margherita Maria Guaini, our Foundress, to accept and respond to a question mystically received from the lips of Jesus: "What use is my Blood if no one makes it count?" (cf. Psalm 30:10), by sharing the universal thirst of Christ the Priest for salvation, making known, appreciated, and lived the mystery of the Holy Mass, in which He, through the ministry of Priests, continues to offer His unique and universal redemptive sacrifice to the Father.

THE GREATEST GOOD OF THE CHURCH IS THE

 HOLY MASS
(Mother Margherita M. Guaini)

IT IS THE SOURCE AND SUMMIT OF ALL CHRISTIAN LIFE
The Constitution Lumen gentium of Vatican II, speaking of the “common priesthood” of all
the faithful, writes: “The faithful, by virtue of their royal priesthood, contribute to the offering
of the Eucharist and exercise their priesthood by receiving the sacraments, with prayer and
thanksgiving, with the witness of a holy life, with self-denial and active charity… By participating in the Eucharistic sacrifice, source and summit of all Christian life,
they offer to God the divine Victim and themselves with it.” (Lumen gentium, 10-11).

At every moment of the day and at this very instant as you read,
countless Holy Masses are being celebrated on earth, at least one
every four or five seconds.
On the altars all over the world, Jesus the Eternal Priest, through the
ministry of the ministering priests, continually offers to God the Father the
sacrifice of his life for the salvation of humanity.
He is the Lamb of God, who with his blood wipes away
the sin of the world.
Join Him, in the situation you are living in this instant, as well as in other
moments of your day, and offer yourself to God too, transforming who you are and what you do
into a song of praise and thanksgiving, saying:

 O Jesus Host Our Love

we offer you to the Divine Father

through Mary in all Holy Masses
